CARAMEL
INGREDIENT LIST:
* 1 C. Sugar
* 1/3 C. Water
CUSTARD
INGREDIENT LIST:
* 16 oz. Egg Substitute
* 1 C. Splenda
* 2 C. Milk nonfat milk
* 1 Lemon rind or 1Tbsp. Vanilla extract for flavoring
DIRECTIONS:
Scald the milk in a double boiler for 15 minutes. Blend the egg substitute with the splenda, milk and flavoring. Pour into pan with caramelized sugar. Place loaf pan in a larger pan half-filled with water and bake until mixture becomes firm. Cool before removing from pan by carefully inverting so the syrup runs over the sides.
