August 24-25, 2006 » Grant Writing Workshop
Provide participants with tools to pursue private foundation, local, and federal grants.

Day One: Provide information and resources on the requirements for applying for public and/or private funds, where to search for funding opportunities, and how to decipher a Request for Proposal (RFP).

Day Two: Provide participants with tools to develop a basic proposal template to respond to RFPs.

Deadline: October 23, 2006 » Mini-Grant Request for Proposal

Purpose: To support those agencies participating in the August Workshop and facilitate application of information gained by responding to the Mini-Grant RFP.

The Foundation will be awarding up to $2,000 to fund the selected proposal(s) in one of the following areas: Education, Environment, Health, and/or Social Services. The proposed project must include collaboration and partnership with at least two other agencies.
