GRMC Medical Oncologist Dr. Ayman Ghroawi as Guest Speaker
Circle of Care is excited to announce that GRMC’s medical oncologist Dr. Ayman Ghroawi will be joining our cancer support group session on Saturday, September 5th. Dr. Ghraowi is a board-cerKfied Medical Oncologist and Hematologist with over 30 years of experience in the treatment of cancer and blood disorders. This is a great opportunity for cancer paKents and survivors to talk informally with a medical oncologist about cancer diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship.
Circle of Care Services
Cancer patients and survivors living in Guam and members of their support team, including family and friends, are invited to participate in the Circle of Care program, which offers cancer support and psycho-oncology services to the Guam community. The Circle of Care program is provided by Pay-Less Community Foundation through a grant from the Guam Cancer Trust Fund. All services are free of charge.
Online Cancer Support Group – Tuesdays 6:00-8:00 pm
Circle of Care's weekly online cancer support group is held every Tuesday evening at 6:00-8:00 pm on Zoom. The group is facilitated by community educator Marie Benito, clinical psychology associate Dr. Camarin Meno, and patient care coordinator Jeanine Quinto. In the first half of each group session, guest speakers will give presentations on cancer support services available in Guam. In-Person Cancer Support Group & Wellness Services – Saturdays 9:30 am-1:00 pm
Circle of Care's in-person cancer support group is held every 1st and 3rd Saturday at 9:30 am-1:00 pm at the Pay-Less Corporate Office, HR Training Room (Building B), 116 W Chålan Santo Papa, Hagåtña (across from Calvo's Insurance). The group is facilitated by licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Iain Twaddle, community educator Marie Benito, and program coordinator Maree Saloma, as well as cancer care specialists from the community. A nutritional light lunch and snacks will be provided.

Support Group for Men with Cancer – Saturday, September 05 (12:00-1:00 pm)
Facilitators: Licensed Clinical Psychologist Dr. Iain Twaddle Circle of Care’s men’s group offers men affected by cancer a space to connect with others who share similar experiences. Support group for Women with Breast Cancer – Saturday, September 26 (10:00 am-12:00 pm)
Facilitators: Licensed Clinical Psychologist Dr. Iain Twaddle and Program Coordinator Maree Saloma Circle of Care’s breast cancer support group provides an opportunity for women with breast cancer to receive support from others with a similar diagnosis. Support Group for Women with Gynecological Cancer – Wednesday, September 30 (6:00-8:00 pm)
Facilitators: Clinical Psychology Associate Dr. Camarin Meno and Associate Facilitator Camille Maestrecampo Circle of Care’s gynecological cancer support group provides an opportunity for women with cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, or vulvar cancer to get support from others with a similar diagnosis. Water Aerobics at the Hilton Guam Resort and Spa – Saturday, September 12 (10:00 am-12:00 pm)
Facilitators: Jasmine Brasuel
A water aerobics class for cancer patients, cancer survivors, and family members is held on the second Saturday of each month at the Hilton Guam Resort and Spa.
Individual and Family Psycho-Oncology Counseling and Patient Navigation
Cancer patients and members of their support team can meet with licensed clinical psychologist Dr. Iain Twaddle, clinical psychology associate Dr. Camarin Meno, or one of our staff counselors for individualized support as they go through their cancer journey. Tai Chi & Qi Gong for Cancer Patients, Survivors, and Caregivers
Circle of Care offers Tai Chi and Qi Gong for cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers with instructor Tina Cruz every Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:00 am at Synergy Studio II (436 Marine Corps Drive, next to Dial Rent-to-Own in East Hagåtña). Sessions for this month will be held September 02, 09, 16, 23, 30.
